Trinidad Garza Early College High School

The Trinidad ‘Trini” Garza Early College High School opened in August 2006 through a partnership between Mountain View College (MVC) and the Dallas Independent School District. Students attend their high school classes on the community college campus. Garza’s mission is “to provide traditionally underserved students an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and up to 60 credit hours toward an associate’s degree and/or baccalaureate degree.” Garza ECHS provides opportunities in which students can succeed and transition seamlessly between high school and college. Their motto is: College Ready, Career Ready, and Life Ready.

Rice University - Web Adventures

In each Web Adventure, students engage in virtual labs, data analysis, and problem solving. Students need to apply the acquired science knowledge and process skills to solve the case or “mystery” presented in the game.
