Web Adventures
In each Web Adventure, students engage in virtual labs, data analysis, and problem solving. Students need to apply the acquired science knowledge and process skills to solve the case or “mystery” presented in the game.
Field tests revealed that our games are effective in teaching the science content, raising students’ interest in science, and increasing science career motivation.
The Rice Web Adventures projects are funded by grants from the National Institute of Health and National Science Foundation. The games are fully aligned to National Science Content Standards.
